Other ways to enjoy this chocolate hot fudge sauce are…

  • Poured over your favourite ice cream. Try my homemade vanilla ice cream!
  • Drizzled over a banana split or sundae.
  • Served up in the centre of a fruit or desert platter. Place the warmed sauce in a small bowl or jar and surround it with strawberries, marshmallows, brownie bits and mini pancakes. Or come up with your own fun chocolate dipped flavor combos.
  • As a chocolate milkshake. Drizzle a bit of warmed sauce around the inside of a glass. Blend together about 1 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of vanilla or chocolate ice cream and 2 heaped spoonfuls of this chocolate sauce. Pour the milkshake into your prepared glass and enjoy!
  • This sauce is also great wherever you might use a dessert topping. It is amazing on my baguette french toast, but also on waffles or freshly baked brownies

Storing and reheating.

Pour your sauce into a sealed container or jar and store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

To reheat, scoop the amount of sauce that you are wanting to use into a small bowl or cup. Microwave your portion for about 20 seconds. Do not heat the whole container as you may cause the sugars in the sauce to crystallize when it cools back down.
