- In a medium sized bowl, heat the butter with the honey in the microwave for 30 seconds
- Add in the flour, baking powder, milk and and any addidional ingredients (pepper and garlic/ dill and garlic). Mix well to combine
- Turn the dough out onto a clean bench top. Knead the dough together a little bit to form a smooth dough. Feel free to add a little bit of extra flour if the dough is still sticky.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and set aside for at least 20 minutes
Cook
- When you are ready to cook these, cut the dough into 8 evenly sized pieces. Form each piece into a small ball
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll each dough ball out thinly. They should have roughly a 15cm diameter
- Heat a small flat frying pan or skillet to a medium high heat. Pan fry the flat breads for about minute on each side. Your want them to be cooked through and have golden brown patches.
- Brush the tops of the flat breads with lots of melted butter and sprinkle over a little bit of salt before removing them from the pan
- Stack the cooked flat breads on a plate and serve warm
