Chocolate Impossible Pie

An easy recipe that combines chocolate, custard and a little bit of baking magic. Just one simple batter will create 3 wonderful layers in this super simple chocolate impossible pie.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 eggs
  • 110 g melted butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa sieved

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees fan bake.
  2. Grease and line a large pan with baking paper.
  3. Place all of your ingredients into a large bowl.
  4. Place all of your ingredients together in a large bowl
  5. Whisk all of your ingredients together until your mixture is well combined and completely smooth. Sieve your mixture if any lumps linger.
  6. Pour into your prepared dish and bake for 45-50 minutes. The top will be lightly golden and the pie will jiggle slightly and appear to be almost set when it is done.
  7. Cool slightly, allowing it to finish setting up before serving. This should take 30-60 minutes.
