Method
- Preheat your oven to 160 degrees, fan forced and line a large cake tin with baking paper.
- In a large bowl sieve and mix together the dry ingredients until well combined.
- Make a well in the middle of your dry ingredients.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the center of the bowl and begin to mix together using an electric whisk. Start by mixing in the very center, mostly mixing the wet ingredients. Then slowly work your way outwards until everything is very well combined.
- Pour the mixture into your prepared cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until baked through.
- When the cake is fully cooled ice with a chocolate icing or ganache.

Store, covered in a cool dry place for up to 5 days
To freeze, wrap your cake firmly in 2 layers of cling film. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
