Peach sorbet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 410 g tin of peaches in syrup
  • 1 Tbs lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Pre freeze the ice cream maker base for 24 hours
  2. Heat the water and sugar in a medium sized saucepan until it is simmering. Simmer the mixture until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  3. Add in the tin of peaches (juice included) and lemon juice and mix well to combine
  4. Use a stick blender to process the mixture until it is smooth
  5. Set aside to cool fully in the fridge (about 1-2 hours)
  6. When you are ready to churn pour into your prepared ice cream maker and churn for 45 minutes - 1 hour. The ice cream will resemble a slushy
  7. Eat now or scoop into a plastic container and store in the freezer
